La web del taller de literatura fantástica al que voy. Vais a encontrar un poco de todo: críticas de libros, pelis, series, cómic... (algunas de las secciones están en proceso, nos hemos puesto hace nada con ellas). También hay bases sobre concursos relacionados con sci-fi, terror y fantasía, y relatos que hemos leído en clase. El último es mío del año pasado, y me acaba de decir que lo ha subido. Pensé que me daría tiempo para corregirlo, porque no lo he tocado después de que lo criticasen en clase, pero bueno. ¡A ver si os gusta!

Proyecto de Arte y Cultura sin clasificación ni censura,
organiza su primer fanzine experimental de ilustración, dibujo y cómic.

El titulo del fanzine será el mismo que el del tema escogido para representar:
"Circo de Horrores"

Por ello estamos buscando más dibujantes que quieran colaborar en éste pequeño proyecto.

So, I'm new. Intros, eh? I'm Neth, I'm 29, My first true Disney Princess was Cinderella when I was very small, and my fave three in order are Tiana, Belle, and Ariel. Yes, Tiana took Belle's spot because Tiana looks like me and I have waited YEARS for that.

I also enjoy Disney Fairies, American Girl, Pokemon, Harry Potter, and other things.

I'm bad at intros. Enjoy a picture of one of my dolls--Otters--in a Tiana dress I got in a costume swap.

So a partial cast list has been released for Shangri-La. And since it runs during the rehearsal period for The Pimp, that seems to mean that Hokushou Kairi won't be moved to play Chauvelin. Which is a bit of a bummer, because she's my second choice for the role with her gorgeous voice. That also seems to be the last troupe accounted for which hadn't committed its star actresses during the spring in one way or another. But, well, I rule nothing out, to be honest. They like to throw us curve-balls just when we think we've got things figured out. ;)

Also, please, people who take retirements really hard (and I'm planning to maybe take my own advice), don't go checking the 'net around Christmas? Yukigumi starts rehearsals on the 26th, which means any further retirement announcements will probably be going up that afternoon (Japan time).

Yukariko cast went up on the 19th -- I wonder if this means they've started rehearsals? Hamlet cast starts rehearsing on the 29th.

Matsudaira is doing Dracula again this April-May, with Zunko. Did everyone know this and I simply missed it?

Maori-san went to Noru & Mami's Dinner Show last night. There were 517 people in the audience, she tells us. ;)

And I'm still surprised this news hasn't spread around more -- I guess it's not as much interest for people who became fans of the Revue after they retired? But Hanafusa Mari is returning to the stage at long last, and will be in a show with Wao Youka: Marlene Dietrich ~She Lived She Loved Forever~

I just joined this community after stumbling across it via froglegss. I go by both Abigail and Abby, but most people just end up calling me Abby. If you're curious to know a little more about me, my profile gives a good overview, but I'd like to keep this not super-long, haha. I'm 19 years old and basically a Disney addict - which, of course, includes the princesses. My two favorites are definitely Ariel and Belle, because I feel as though I have things in common with both of them (especially Ariel, mostly because I'm a fellow redhead). They were really the first princesses who might also be considered heroines - both had a lot more agency than Snow White, Cinderella, etc. I love the classics as well of course, but I feel as though Ariel and Belle, as princesses of the Disney Renaissance, are a little more fully realized as characters.

Anyway, I'm so glad I found this community and look forward to being a part of it!

I just got back from Disney World. Great trip, I love being there during the Christmas season! Anyway, it's a little tradition of mine to buy a snow globe each trip, something to remember the trip by (preferably Beauty and the Beast, but anything that catches my eye). Well, this trip I noticed a lack of snow globes. I think it must be because you aren't allowed to carry snow globes on planes anymore (because of the water), so sales must have been down. It still made me sad.

I also noticed that there weren't many Beauty and the Beast things around anymore. I know the movie is old, but I still love it. I found some very cute Jim Shore things, but that was about it. Again, a little sad. Not that I go to Disney just to shop, but it's part of the fun!
